Our goal is to treat, educate and empower our clients to lead healthier, more balanced lives.
At Brandywine Bodywork the therapists are highly trained and experienced. Each visit is designed to offer the best massage techniques to help clients reach their goals, be it relaxation, better performance or decreasing pain. We offer massage rooms that have been carefully and thoughtfully designed to provide the cleanest and most relaxing environment for your massage sessions.
Regardless of which massage you choose you can expect to experience a quiet, calming atmosphere with heated tables and the highest professional massage therapy.
A common question, is "what do I have to take off?" ...we work therapeutically and use draping to keep the body warm and modesty-level high. We only uncover the area being worked on and then, recover the area before moving on. With this in mind, most of the muscles of the shoulders and upper back are in the exact area covered by bra straps, while the lower back and leg muscles involve the muscles of the buttocks area. We will not massage under clothing. That being said, we want you to be relaxed and comfortable, so therefore it is your choice what clothing to remove.
Another reason we have heard, about why people put off scheduling much needed massage therapy, is some people are too self conscious. With approximately 640 skeletal muscles in the body, therapists are focused on which muscles are causing pain and tension as well as how that muscle works to assess where problems may be originating. Studies show that massage & bodywork can improve one's perception of their body image.
If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will happily answer you.
Otherwise, we look forward to meeting and treating you soon!
